The new Ford Mustang Mach-E is everything you could want if you blended a pony car with an SUV. Every model of this new Ford vehicle is a plug-in electric SUV, eliminating the need for gasoline. The new Mustang Mach-E is available now, but if you want to special order one with custom package options, our dealership near Benton Harbor can help.

Explore the Mustang Mach-E's Trim Levels

The Mustang Mach-E comes in four trim levels. The Select, Premium, California Route 1, and the GT represent the trim levels in ascending order of luxury and price. While the body styling remains the same for all, additional exterior and interior features change the trim level regarding luxury and comfort. Additionally, the highest level, the GT, offers a Night Pony package that comes with all-black exterior trim accents.

Exceptional Battery Life

On most plug-in electric vehicles, there are limits to how far the car will go before it needs to be plugged in and charged. While the same holds true for the Mustang Mach-E, the surprise is that the powerful engine consumes a similar amount of electricity as any other vehicle. The Select trim level comes with a standard 72-volt battery but still manages to travel 273 miles without needing to charge up again. The GT can go 311 miles without needing to recharge, and the Premium and California Route 1 can go 341 and 372 miles, respectively.

For an SUV designed with enough power to race, that's quite the distance. Most people have a daily commute of 50 miles or less round trip, meaning that you could essentially go to work all week and never have to plug the vehicle in once. However, Ford does recommend that you plug it in at least once every 15 days and maintain at least 50% power at all times.

Drivetrain and Performance You'd Expect from the Mustang Name

Mustang cars have been synonymous with power from their inception. The new Mustang Mach-E is no different, with its eAWD or rear wheel drivetrain options and starting 266 horsepower and 317 pound-feet of torque. Of course, that's just the base model, Select. If you really want to get behind a Mach-E with horsepower and torque, the GT trim level gives you 480 horsepower and 600 pound-feet of torque! More torque is available if your chosen trim level utilizes the eAWD drivetrain.

Nine Standard Colors

The latest Ford Mustang Mach-E is available in nine exterior colors, the majority of which are metallics. Most buyers pick either the Rapid Red metallic or the Vapor Blue metallic, although the newest color this year, Eruption Green, is gaining traction. The interior of the Mustang Mach-E has four color options, regardless of trim level. The Mustang Mach-E trim you choose might not have every color, so if you are looking for a very specific color, call our Ford dealership near Allegan and ask.

The Safest Muscle Luxury Vehicle Ever

Airbags built into this vehicle are for everyone, including those riding in the back seat. The rear-mounted airbags and curtain airbags protect passengers in the back, while the many airbags for the front seat passenger and driver cover you from knees to head. The SOS crash alert system means that any accident automatically sends out a signal to local emergency personnel, whether you are conscious or not. A 360-degree split view camera helps you see from every direction around your Mustang Mach-E so that you can prevent accidents from happening.
