If you are planning a trip in your car for any distance, it is a great idea to make a checklist before you leave. Here at the dealership we see situations that may not have occurred if some planning had taken place:
- Bring your vehicle in for a quick going over before you leave. We can make suggestions that might keep you from breaking down along the way
- take some snacks and drinks along with you it will keep your alertness and energy up to speed as you travel
- Pack a first aid kit, just in case. It can come in handy in an emergency
- Use a good routing system such as Google Maps, just to make sure that you will be traveling the most efficient route
- Take along enough items to keep everyone occupied, especially if you have children on board
- Book your accommodations in advance if you will be traveling overnight
- Make reservations ahead of time for meals
